Brits like to travel the world's continents and seas, and often seem to be the first to make wild, long journeys.
Catherine Birchall is blind, and you might think she would have hesitated when asked if she'd like to go round the world on a motorbike. But "I've always been an adventurer", she says.
By the time she and Bernard Smith set out, they had fallen in love. Twenty-five thousand miles later, they have returned from circling the globe, and raising money for charity. Cathy has ridden into the record books.
