Darwin On the Web

The family of Charles Darwin is putting all his works online with 50,000 searchable text pages and 40,000 images of both publications and handwritten manuscripts available now, and more to come. It's a remarkable achievement. The website is here.

Our compressed description of Darwin and the theory of evolution, along with Alfred Russel Wallace's discovery of natural selection as the key to evolution, can be found here at the Ingenious Timeline.

Update: Affected by the evolving state of web servers, and overwhelmed with visitors, Darwin site links are down. Try it in a few days.
