What Liberty Requires

A rude and arrogant fellow with an ancestral manor tried to enclose common land in Norfolk for his own use, claiming it was his. The villagers, whose forebears had used it since Saxon times, fought him, taking the case to court. The judge ruled in their favor. The Telegraph report is here.
