Spiritual refreshment in quiet gardens

Fr. Philip Roderick, the Anglican priest and contemplative
who founded the Quiet Garden Movement

Friend and reader Suzanne Kurtz wrote to tell us of the Quiet Garden Movement which began in Britain fifteen years ago.

The private gardens and quiet spaces are open for days of stillness and reflection, spiritual refreshment and support, contemplation and community focus. Contemplation is often an illuminating source of action.

Quiet gardens and spaces can be found in Britain, Canada and America, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Botswana, Brazil, France, Haiti, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Kenya, New Zealand, South Africa, and Uganda.
