Transforming medical treatment
Reports on the treatment of patients by the National Health Service have been depressing for some time. This is tragic for Brits who need medical care and expensive for taxpayers and an outrage for those who know something about the quality of medical care in Britain before the government made a mess of it.
In the past, a network of privately-funded teaching hospitals and universities extended across Britain. Many patients who could not afford care were given excellent free care at these hospitals. Breakthroughs such as the one described in It Was A "Miracle" were common.
Reforming health care in Britain will require transforming physical, social, economic, and spiritual fundamentals. It can be done. We hope to suggest how.
