Facing the threat to freedom from violent Islamists and their supporters

Christopher Hitchens provides a cogent and encouraging analysis of a book by Canadian Mark Steyn in The City. Hitchens refers to British writer Martin Amis and Jack Straw, Leader of the House of Commons, and makes specific points we were glad to see and others, equally good, which surprised us.

We have thought about how Britain might respond here, and hope you will tell us where we might be right or wrong.
