Magnificent genes

Ada Mason was Britain’s oldest woman. She died recently aged 111, leaving twelve grandchildren and more than 20 great-grandchildren. (They are still counting the great-great grandchildren.) She has said that her longevity was due to daily bread and dripping sprinkled with salt. I think it’s fair to say that to live this long despite her diet she must have had magnificent genes.
