BRITS oppose sky surveillance and high road charges
Another in our great people/dud government series
More than 1.5 million Brits have signed their names to a petition to oppose a government plan to slap them with high road charges. The dastardly plan is that everywhere you go, Big Brother in the sky will know, and tax you. In a not unrelated concern, many Brits wonder what has happened to all the money they have already sent the government, with few achievements evident. You can add your name to the petition, which closes Tuesday, here.
Update: We note that it is the EU that is behind the government's road surveillance/tax demands, as Christopher Booker explains here.
