Another sporting hero?

Lewis Hamilton has become a phenomenon. He finished second in the Bahrain Grand Prix on Sunday, and by doing so became the first Formula One driver to finish in the top three in his three first-ever races. He drives for McLaren, and is the junior driver to Fernando Alonso who is also the reigning world champion. Hamilton beat Alonso in Bahrain. Two things caught my eye about this young man. He lives in Surrey, close to the McLaren operation there. (I wonder if he drives to work?) And he is named after Carl Lewis, who at the time Hamilton was born was the fastest runner in the world.
