Festival of Trees

albion_snowy_trees.jpg

On 4 December, London's Natural History Museum hosts Save the Children’s Festival of Trees. Designer Sophie Conran, the Talking Beads Co-operative from Pretoria, South Africa, and Jamie Oliver and his students from Fifteen restaurant are among those who have decorated trees.

A silent auction to benefit Save the Children follows the dinner, which HRH The Princess Royal will attend. She has served as President of Save the Children since 1970, and has travelled the world to meet staff and children and raise funds.

Eglantyne Jebb founded Save the Children in London in 1919. We wrote about her in becoming the person you long to be.
