Not afraid of falling on his face - Richard Branson
We have grave reservations about the United Nations in action - so ineffective, so wasteful, and so curiously receptive to tyrannical governments. However I note that they recently did something sensible by selecting Richard Branson as Citizen of the Year. We've written about Branson here. Along with many other successful Brits, he did not complete his schooling, leaving Stowe at the age of fifteen.
He's described in the Wall Street Journal today - "Big-think is part of Mr. Branson's M.O., the spirit he has brought to his far-flung and diverse businesses."
