A history of the Crystal Palace

Ian Bevan uncovers the story of the Crystal Palace, from its design and construction for the Great Exhibition of 1851 to its destruction by fire in 1936. Bevan is a lecturer in London history and former Chairman of the Crystal Palace Foundation.
