A Canadian view of The Queen

We read this amusing letter in the National Post. The reason for the correspondence is here, but you won't need it. The CBC mentioned in the letter is the Canadian BBC.

"If we are going to choose our head of state, I nominate Elizabeth Windsor. She satisfies all the recently established criteria: She is a woman; speaks French fluently; has command, literally, of the English language; is not exactly an immigrant, but many consider her to be a foreigner; represents a soon-to-be minority group (people of English heritage); and while she has never been employed by the CBC, she does appear there regularly. In addition her integrity is unmatched, and she has more than fifty years experience."
