This is not the UN of which Churchill and FDR dreamed
In 1941, on board ship in the Atlantic, Churchill and Roosevelt made known the charter principles under which Britain and America and, they hoped, the world would live when World War II ended. The Atlantic Charter led to the United Nations.
Today, despite a few good works, inevitably stained by sexual abuse committed by UN peacekeepers, the UN is a talking shop, held hostage by despots.
It is high time the democracies found an alternative.
