Remembering a Canadian war hero

On this day in 1939 Nazi Germany invaded Poland with 1.5 million troops. The attack was unprovoked, and began World War II.

The Telegraph yesterday paid tribute to Canadian Group Captain Jim Mitchell, one of the hundreds of thousands of heroes of the war.
