Iraqis to march in London to support Christians persecuted in Iraq

We have learned from Doug Hainline of the Liberty Resource Center that the Iraqi Community in Britain is sponsoring a march at Noon on Saturday, 1 November, in London, to call for the protection of Christians in Iraq.

The march will proceed down Whitehall to Downing Street to present a petition to the Prime Minister, urging Her Majesty's Government to act immediately to prevent further killings, persecution and eviction of Iraqi Christians from Mosul and Iraq.

The Iraqi Community in Britain calls this "a noble cause" and invites you to join them. They will meet at Whitehall Court, at the junction with Horseguards Avenue. The nearest stations are Charing Cross and Embankment.

Cat has always supported and been full of hope for the cause of freedom, justice and peace in Iraq. I have been concerned about the well-being of Christians there. Many of the American and British soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the Iraqi people were Christian, and I am appalled that Iraqis would hurt or murder Christians in Iraq.

If my plane arrives in time, I will join the march.
