The Joneses sing of home

Tom Jones (Sir Thomas Jones Woodward OBE) was born in Trefforest. His career as a pop singer took off in the 1960s, and he has sold over 100 million records and amassed a fortune. He has spent years living in LA, but plans to return home to Britain - perhaps he already has.

Bryn Terfel Jones CBE was born in Pant Glas. A bass-baritone, he has become world famous performing opera. Like Tom Jones, Terfel has sung popular music and he is married to his childhood sweetheart, but his home has always been in Wales.

Terfel speaks Welsh - lovely - you'll hear it in the song. He is patron of a charity for children with cerebral palsy and helped to pay for the railway station in his home town of Bontnewydd.
