My hero is (now Sir) Robin Knox-Johnston, sailor extraordinaire. The first to sail non-stop around the world in his home made wooden ketch. And he did it again (in an "Open 60") at the age of 68!

My hero is Margaret Thatcher, who demonstrated that it is possible to snatch a nation from the claws of Big Government and return it to the path of courage and independence.
