Author Theodore Dalrymple to discuss life, politics and work as an inner-city doctor
On Tuesday, February 23rd, at 7.30 pm, the passionate, witty and gritty Dr Theodore Dalrymple, the author of more than eighteen books, talks about the misbegotten ideas which are destroying lives. His interlocutor is Daniel Hannan MEP. There will be an opportunity for questions from the floor.
Dalrymple has spent 20 years working as a prison and hospital doctor and chronicling his experiences in regular dispatches which were collected in Not with a Bang But A Whimper: The Politics and Culture of Decline and Second Opinion. A Doctor's Notes from the Inner City. Dalrymple's essay on inflation, which we wrote about here, is the clearest explanation we've seen on how your government steals your worth.
You can hear Dalrymple and Hannan
