Winston Churchill's 'black dog'

Churchill described his depression as a black dog. Writer Rebecca Hunt has now imagined that depression as a talking dog.

I don't know that anyone can ever really feel and describe another person's depression. During the Second World War, Churchill had to go on, no matter how he felt, and he often felt, in response to the terrible events of the early years, very badly indeed.

I think many, many people stoically plough on, as he did.
