Summer blogging

Terribly light at the moment. I'm sorry! But who can resist a game of croquet before lunch, particularly when cherished children are at play. I remember that Russell Page once designed a garden for clients who wished for no colours but green and white. This was achieved with green lawns and white peacocks. Lovely, but I prefer a lawn decorated with hoops and children, mallets and coloured wooden balls.
