"A Brit worth remembering"

Roger Kuin sent us word about "Fighting Jack Churchill", a British soldier who fought armed with a longbow, arrows and a claymore throughout the Second World War.

Jack Churchill was no relation of Winston's. He was a great warrior.

Roger wrote, "Reminds me of other heroes of mine, like Orde Wingate. Other countries don't have blokes like this, I suspect. . ."

On a relaxed Indian summer's day, it's worth remembering the Brits who bequeathed freedom to us.
