We are losing track of our story and the ideas that have sustained us, and we now face threats to our values, our freedoms, and our prosperity so grave that civilisation is in peril.

By remembering who we are and what we value we will rise with courage and wisdom to meet these threats and to claim the inheritance that belongs to all of us.

Together, wherever we live, whoever we are, we will nourish and protect the values of honesty and common sense, fair play and compassion, bravery and self-discipline, rational thought and faith, freedom and inventiveness, the rule of law and representative government.
