We hope that you will consider joining the Circle of Friends and help to share the inheritance.

The Circle of Friends includes all those who help to sustain this website. Your support will be acknowledged (unless you wish to remain anonymous). Your name will appear in a section where your support will give life to your ideals. For a summary of the Inheritance, see IMAGINE.

We will share the inheritance with a worldwide community of men, women, and children. Together we will nourish and protect the values of honesty and common sense, fair play and compassion, bravery and self-discipline, rational thought and faith, freedom and inventiveness, the rule of law and representative government.

DAVID ABBOTT, MD, MRCP

I have practiced medicine in Britain, Canada, and the United States, where I raised my two children. I am also a grandfather, a runner with twenty-plus marathons under my belt, and an environmentalist.

I always maintained my ties to Britain, where I now live, and over the last decade I came to realise how much of all I value depends on ideas and traditions nurtured by Brits. I saw that these values were being deliberately ignored and, in some cases, destroyed. I could not sit around and let that happen. I decided to publicise the legacy of BRITS AT THEIR BEST by Sharing the Inheritance.

We hope you will be inspired by what you find in this blog/website, and that you will help us to make it grow in brilliance and depth by becoming a Friend.

Catherine Glass

CATHERINE GLASS

I am a graduate of Barnard College and Columbia University with a degree in Classical Greek. I have been an arts administrator and editor, and have written and published three books.

For eight years I have served the ill and the homeless in lay ministries at an Episcopal cathedral. I have studied British heroes, artists, and thinkers for three decades. As an American who is the descendant of English, Irish, and Czechs who loved freedom, I am dedicated to bringing the inheritance to you.
