Looking for the Great Brit of 2006
The Telegraph begins its search for the man or woman who can follow in the footsteps of Sebastian Coe, world champion runner and head of the successful London Olympic bid, and Tim Berners-Lee, the inventor of the world wide web. They were the first two winners of the Great Briton award now in its third year.
Winners are chosen from the arts, business, campaigning, creative industries, public life, science and innovation and sport. Go to the Great Britons site to vote.
