We await the conclusions of the EU summit with some interest
We are interested in what Tony Blair may do at the EU Summit. If he signs away Britain's vetoes, if he diminishes this country by another iota, he will reap a bitter harvest.
The extremely pushy Chancellor of Germany, Angela Merkel, whose Communist/Socialist past seems increasingly apparent, is pushing for an EU settlement that was rejected by French and Dutch voters, and is opposed by the Polish and Czech governments. We do not wish her well.
