Quest for hidden treasures in libraries
An album given by poet Robert Southey to his daughter, with poems, drawings and autographs by friends Dorothy and William Wordsworth, Charles Lamb, George Cruikshank and John Constable; watercolours of rural life during World War II; an 18th century atlas of Ireland from Armagh. . .these are a few of the treasures discovered in regional libraries.
It's wonderful to learn of the treasures. The Guardian has more details here.
