The Union Flag, then
The Union flag makes a surprising appearance in the state flag of Hawaii.

The Union Flag is the only flag that I can think of that is found in the flags of other countries and territories. Some of those countries are closely connected with Britain. Others have a more tenuous connection.
Keir Heath has collected hundreds of Union flags. He's decorated his classroom in Peking with them. His website has the most extensive and collection we’ve seen. It's quite stunning.
The silly British government, with so many large and self-inflicted problems on its hands, actually thinks it might waste some time redesigning this glorious flag.
