Beaumont sets world cycle recordMark Beaumont, 25, completed the trip in 195 days and six hours - beating the current record of 276 days, which was also held by a Briton. Beaumont pedalled past the finishing line at the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, and was met by a crowd of well-wishers.
