Prince Charles welcomes Dalai Lama

We were glad to learn that the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall met with the Dalai Lama, the exiled spiritual leader of Tibet, at Clarence House, a day after the Dalai Lama was apparently barred from visiting the Prime Minister at Number 10. The Dalai Lama is in Britain on an 11-day visit to highlight human rights abuses by the Chinese Communist Government in Tibet.
