The Telegraph music reviewer doesn't think much of classical music outdoors - he snubs Glyndebourne, which friends of mine have enjoyed - but Dominic Cavendish describes a theatre I would like to visit -

Carved into the coastline at Porthcurno Bay, in Penzance, the Minack (Cornish for "rocky place") is like a Greek amphitheatre, with the sea and sky forming a breathtaking backdrop. Storms are the meteorological icing on the cake: the theatre's founder, Rowena Cade, built it near her home in 1932 expressly to provide a location for a production of The Tempest. . . .

Minack's summer season starts with Full Tilt theatre company's Comedy of Errors on June 9.
