Archbishop skydives to raise money for soldiers
Dr John Sentamu, Archbishop of York, jumped from 13,000 feet with a member of the Red Devils parachute display team to help raise money for the families of soldiers wounded or killed while serving in Afghanistan.
"It's important for citizens of this country to value those who risk their lives for the sake of this country," said our favourite archbishop, "so I'm doing my part."
He called the experience "exhilarating".
Hoping to raise £50,000 for the Afghanistan Trust, he raised £75,000.
