Looking for hearts of oak - update
We have a different report to add to an earlier post.
Retired US Army General Jack Keane distinctly commended British troops and their contributions. "Speaking in Basra, he pointed out that British support for the Iraqi-led Operation Charge of the Knights had played a pivotal role in defeating the insurgents who had been in control. . ."
We may wonder whether British armed forces were always used as effectively as they should have been, but we know they were brave.

The British armed forces historically have been some of the best fighters in the world. Their hearts of oak have always been steadfast. But bravery is not everything. They have always been smart fighters as well. How else could Britania Rule the Waves? Indeed there was a time when the sun never set on the British Empire!
