Climate change update

We first reported on the possibility of an ice age on January 31 after talking with the Canadian Space Agency. There have been a flurry of reports in the media since then.
Our interest was stimulated by Edward Maunder. He had connected the small number of sunspots with the cold, 70-year-long Maunder Minimum (1645-1715), a period when the Thames froze over.
Checking with Englishman Ken Tapping at the Canadian Space Agency, we learned that the density flux values for the Sun's magnetic energy were not rising out of their eleven-year cyclical low, as had been expected. Consequently our earth would receive less warmth.
Since then the values have gone down. The Adjusted Flux Density Value today is 66. Daily updates are here.
NASA's Ulysses project recently reported that the intensity of the sun's solar wind was at its lowest point since the beginning of the space age. NASA's Goddard Institute said that the Earth had cooled 0.7 degree Celsius in 2007.
