An "in-built stubbornness"
We said good-bye to retiring Royal Ballet First Soloist and Principal dancer Darcey Bussell last year.

She made a leap alright - to Australia - with her husband and two daughters, and has since helped to develop the Magic Ballerina children's books.
In today's Telegraph interview Darcey refers to her "in-built stubborness".
The sweetness of her determination is visible here -
What Darcey refers to as stubbornness was once called fortitude. It has played - and we think will continue to play - an amazing role in history. Fortitude has achieved good things against terrible odds.
The idea that interests us is that phrase "in-built".
