In the beautiful midwinter
New Year's Day was wet and foggy here in Portland so I was surprised to open my curtains and find a beautiful day with a fresh fall of snow on all the rooftops and firs.
Here is Gloucester Cathedral Choir singing "In the Bleak Midwinter", words by Christina Rossetti, music by Gustav Holst. English Cathedral choir music is unique, in part because it still exists. Most Italian and French cathedrals have lost their choirs.

And here is a partial list of Anglican cathedral choir music around the world.
