RAF Birthday today

The Royal Air Force (RAF), the oldest independent air force in the world and the brave Few of World War II, was established on April 1st 1918.Today the RAF serves in Iraq, Afghanistan, and the Balkans, and at bases in the Falkland Islands, Qatar, Germany, Cyprus, and Gibraltar.
Happy birthday, and thank you RAF.

St Clement Danes, designed by Christopher Wren, bombed by the Germans in World War II, restored by the Royal Air Force in 1958. Today St Clement Danes is the RAF's church, "prayed in daily and visited throughout the year by thousands seeking solace and reflection".
