Revolutionary tea parties
Tea parties all over the US have taken a leaf from the tea party first organized by British subjects in 18th century America to protest taxes without representation.
In the 21st century Americans have representatives, but those reps are using taxpayer money to bail-out feckless and crooked financial institutions, reckless bankers and imprudent home owners. In turn the politicos expect the special interests to help reelect them with votes and money.
The DC denizens claim that we can spend our way out of debt. The people attending the tea parties understand that the political class is brewing disaster.
