The Foundling Museum is currently hosting concerts and exhibits and free events and workshops for the young.
Maypoles, the May Bank Holiday, the annual cheese-rolling event at Cooper's Hill, Gloucester (young men pursue a cheese down a steep hill at high speed), the odious Henry VIII at Windsor, the Isle of Man Motorcycle Race, As You Like It on the boards at Stratford-upon-Avon and picnics outdoors, one hopes - all this and more in the merry month of May.
