Prince Harry at Ground Zero
Prince Harry laid a wreath at Ground Zero and visited with firefighters and the families of those killed in the attack on 9-11 2001.
Quarrels among the rebuilders have left Ground Zero gaping like an open and empty grave. Standing close to the grave is St Paul's Chapel, where George Washington prayed after he took the oath of office as the first president of the United States on April 30th 1789.
The chapel, built in 1766, resembles St Martin-in-the-Fields. It was there that workers searching for bodies in the wreck of the World Trade Center ate and slept, when they could, and wept. They rested beside their tool belts, and the marks of their tools are visible on the wooden pews.
