Is it now safe to have reasoned discussions of immigration? I recall that a few years ago, you were treated worse than a pedeophile if you dared to criticize immigration. And if I recall correctly, it was just last year that the Tory candidate, Nigel Hastilow got ejected from the party for saying something along the lines of that Enoch Powell was right in his assertion that mass immigration in fact leads to social tension. Is the climate changing that much, or were my earlier observations faulty?
