Battle of Hastings weekend - what was saved
It’s Battle of Hastings weekend. There are demonstrations of falconry and chain mail production, a classic car show and a jewellery sale in aid of the lifeboat station. And there is the Battle, so popular it's reenacted twice - at 3 pm Saturday October 10th and Sunday October 11th.

If your house was burning down, your family was safe outside and you had time to save two things, what would they be? The English lost much in 1066, but they managed to save two things from the invaders.
