Sadly we agree
In a speech the Archbishop of Canterbury said -
An obsession with repeatedly testing and assessing children undermined their personal, spiritual and emotional development.Dr Williams insisted that the focus on examination results and targets categorised pupils as "successes and failures" at a young age and damaged the morale of teachers. . . He called the state system "oppressive".
There has to be something wrong with an educational system that leaves children uninterested in learning. Here are students who loved to learn.
