A new biography of the "Inimitable"
As you may have noticed, my paper of choice is the Wall Street Journal. (Doesn't that Cat read anything else?) Well, it has the advantage of arriving at my door, and it's awfully good. Here is another feature to relish, David Propson on a new biography of Dickens and Christmas Books by Dickens.
Really, Dickens was like a force of nature.
Here is one of my favorite quotes, which appears in Propson's piece - "In the little world in which children have their existence . . . there is nothing so finely perceived and so finely felt as an injustice." (David Copperfield)
Oh, yes!
