Chelsea peony promise

We've had enough of rosettes. Chelsea brings us peonies. Dave Root (a nice name for a gardener) says the cold winter was good for them. Kelways, in Langport, Somerset, has 700 to 800 peonies growing and he inspects them every day, warming them up or cooling them down to speed or slow growth before they arrive in all their loveliness at Chelsea. Dave thinks Claire de Lune will be there.
