The power of remembering
We never thought we would be happy about anything Peter Mandelson had written. But his autobiographical revelations of New Labour's naked greed, political ambition, dishonesty, incompetence and gross betrayal of Britain's children, retired men and women, armed forces, economy and national sovereignty ought to prove instructive. It's also good to learn that there were two men willing to defy Gordon Brown and speak honestly and publicly about the state of Britain's debt.
