Biddulph on boys
Boys are amazing and lovable if the small boys I know are anything to go by. But the teen years can be difficult, and especially hard on boys themselves.
Recently Steve Biddulph, 'a gangling, shy man who seems to have a natural empathy with both children and their worried parents', has reissued his book RAISING BOYS with expanded sections on the teen years.
Biddulph was born in Yorkshire, and raised in Australia, and it sounds as if he has wise ideas about boys, how they grow up, what their physical challenges are and what they need from their dads. I learned some fascinating things about boys.
