Tory rebelsTory rebels have tabled 30 bills which differ quite dramatically from the Coalition government manifesto and the programme of Tory leaders. They want to give immunity from prosecution to people who tackle burglars in their own homes; pull Britain out of the EU; and scrap the TV license fee, which supports the BBC's monopoly. We like some of their ideas, and their nerve.
