The most popular Proms ever

A terrific last night. The most popular Proms ever.
Among dozens of performances, audiences in the Royal Albert Hall heard Wagner, Bach (Sleepers Awake), and Dame Judi Dench eloquently singing Send in the Clowns.
And, yes, Land of Hope and Glory! And American soprano Renee Fleming singing - with thousands of others - Rule Britannia. We prefer Sarah Connolly CBE singing Rule Britannia in 2009. Britons never shall be slaves!
All Proms can be seen or watched for 7 days after the broadcast via the BBC iPlayer.
