'A century-old tale of radical Islam and Western appeasement that's eerily familiar'
In The Tragedy of Korosko, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle has illuminated violent Islamists, Western appeasement, Europe's ridiculous conspiracy theories and the pitiful and dangerous absurdities of intellectuals.

Thank your for the reminder that he produced more than the character who,in a sense, consumed his reputation. One of my favorites was The White Company, but I completely missed the Tragedy of the Korosko. Wonderfully apt. Agatha Christie visits Eric Ambler.
